Ganna Rizatdinova awarded Longines Prize for Elegance
Longines Prize for Elegance 2013 in rhythmic gymnastics found its owner in Ukrainian gymnast Anna Rizatdinova (20 years), Gold medalist winner on Hoop and Silver medalist in the All-around and on Ribbon.
Longines Elegance Award selects the most elegant gymnast among 24 competitors participating in the individual all-around finals. The jury evaluates the emotional appeal, along with the technique of performance, beauty, charisma and charm, as well as the grace and harmony of movement.
The owner of the Longines Prize for Elegance got the statue of Swiss artist Jean-Pierre Gerber, Longines watches and a check for $ 5,000. The ceremony took place in Kiev Sports Palace on Friday immediately after the completion of the final All-Around.
Since 1997, the Longines Watch Co. Ltd delivers at each Artistic and Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships its Longines Prize for Elegance. The first trophy was awarded to Russian gymnast Natalia Lipovskaya at the Berlin Worlds in 1997 and the 2011 title holder who was awarded in Montpellier is Delpine Ledoux (FRA).
