Brazil finished ninth in qualifications at last fall's world championships in Glasgow, from which the top eight teams earned automatic berths to the Rio Games.
Brazilian gymnasts are determined to get to Rio by all means. They are preparing hard to the Olympic Test Event in April.
"All gymnasts understand that qualifying for the Olympics will not be easy, but that we must do it. I can say that the girls are very eager to show what they are made of and to get it done,"- the team coach, Aleksander Aleksandrov said. Find more details here.

A great Rhythmic Gymnastics event, Spring Fling 2016, is going to take place very soon. On April 8-10 our company, Gymnastics Fantastic, will be one of the partners at those competitions.

Neta Rivkin and her story!
The Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro are coming very soon! It is a very significant event and only the best gymnasts will take part in it! Neta Rivkin is one of them!
This gymnast achieved a lot! The Olympic Games in Rio will be her third Olympiad. Neta Rivkin trains really hard to show great results. She says: “Trainings mean pain, injuries and overcoming of yourself. They mean to move farther when you think that you can’t. But I get a great inspiration when I train in the sport hall. This feeling gives me energy and makes everything be full of sense.”

It’s very real!
British gymnasts visited the Olympic village. They were thrilled with the atmosphere. Amy Tinkler shared her emotions about that trip!

LA LIGHTS 2016!
A grand rhythmic gymnastics event took place on January 21-24. Its motto is “Be ready to be amazed”! These words suit to the competition perfectly because rhythmic gymnasts impress judges greatly!
Ganna Rizatdinova won the All-around and all the separate exercises – 5 gold medals out of 5 possible ones. During this tournament gymnast showed two new performances: with ribbon and ball to an inflammatory samba.

Olympic history is remembered!
A lot of gymnasts became memorable due to their great results at the Olympic Games. USA Gymnastics’ Olympic team reunion provides an opportunity for the gymnastics community to recognize the many accomplishments and achievements of the U.S. men and women on the Olympic stage.
“We want to celebrate the athletes who have contributed to our Olympic history and have them be a part of our send-off for the 2016 Olympic gymnastics team,” said Steve Penny, president of USA Gymnastics.
